The Xolo X1000 was launched today in an event at Goa. This is one of the most expected smartphones this month and it is largely advertised as the world’s fastest smartphone with Intel processor. While the Xolo X1000 is expected to feature the Intel Clover Trail+ processor, it only came with the Intel medfield Z2480 chipset. This processor clocks about 2 GHz speed. Hence, the name world’s fastest smartphone. This is slightly disappointing due to the fact that the Clover Trail+ chipset is an advanced version compared to the one present in this model.
Apart from the processor, the Xolo X1000 also packs a lot of high end features in it. It comes with a 4.7-inch display screen with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. The pixel density of the display screen is 312 ppi. The 400 MHz GPU present in this device ensures great graphic visuals. A 1 GB RAM is also loaded in here to provide great multitasking experience. This smartphone comes with an 8 MP primary camera and a 1.3 MP secondary camera. The device comes with in-built memory of 8 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card. It has a 1900 mAh battery with up to 13 days talk time on 2G standby.
