The Icelandic band Sigur Rós has released the first single, " brennisteinn" from the upcoming album, along with a brand new music video to appease their fans. In proper fashion, Sigur Rós also extended their tour into the fall.
The first stop of the tour is this Sunday, March 24, in Washington, DC and will then move on to play their largest U.S. show to date at New York's Madison Square Garden Monday night. The band is also scheduled to appear on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Friday, March 22 where they plan to play a new song off Kveikur.
As an additional treat to fans, all ticketholders for their current U.S. tour will receive a digital EP with three brand new songs. Sigur Rós just won't stop.
