NO GUNS ALLOWED

Snoop Lion calls upon Drake and his daughter Cori B for the newest release from his forthcoming reggae album 'Reincarnated'. 'No Guns Allowed' is produced by Major Lazer,Dre Skull and Ariel Rechtshaid who employ a sample from Beirut’s “Nantes” track. Very positive and laid back vibe to this track, which also features Drake taking on a flow that we've never heard from him before.
Drake is just one of the features that Snoop has for us for his 'Reincarnated' album. Other names like Busta Rhymes, T.I., Chris Brown, Akon, Rita Ora and Mavado will all be making appearances throughout the reggae-themed album. No lack of A-list talent to help him make the transition from Hip-Hop to Reggae.
Snoop's 'Reincarnated' documentary is currently in select theaters right now. The album doesn't hit stores until April 23rd. Pre-order is available on Amazon. Take a listen to 'No Guns Allowed' and let us know what you think below.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE NEW MUSIC VIDEO : MIRRORS

MIRRORS

Justin Timbelake pays tribute to enduring love in the MV for "Mirrors", the 2nd single off "The 20/20 Experience". Watch the Floria Sigismondi-directed effort above.
Wow at him actually making a video for the 8-minute album version of the song. The video is pretty amazing, pretty epic and looks like a 'classic' already. It shows us the journey of this couple at three different times of their lives. When they meet each other, when they get married and when they're elder. They got their share of ups and downs thoughout their life together, but in the end true love will always endure. That's like the moral of the whole video. Once their 'story' is over, the last minutes of the MV sees Justin Timberlake entering and dancing across a maze of mirrors. Lol, so random. Well, well, this is without a doubt a great video, but not sure I want to see this 8-minute thing AGAIN. So...kind the only negative aspect, hehe. I guess when filming this with Floria Sigismondi, Justin wasn't thinking about the VEVO views.
The amazing Timbaland-produced "Mirrors" is the new single from "The 20/20 Experience", Justin performed it not so long on 'SNL', it's already reached #1 in the UK and in the US it's rapidly gaining airplay and peaking new heights on the Hot 100.

30 SECONDS TO MARS : NEW SINGLE UP IN THE AIR

UP IN THE AIR

American rock band 30 Seconds to Mars premiered on radio today (March 18) their brand new single "Up In The Air", the first offering from their upcoming fourth studio album "Love Lust Faith + Dreams" due in stores worldwide May 21st via Virgin EMI Records.
This is gooooood. I recommed hearing this with your headphones on, and bass and volume at maximum level! Lyrically, "Up In The Air" tells the story of the apocalipsis of atoxic relationship (or at least that's why I get), and sonically, the track features a kind of epic rock production (timid in the verses but grandiose in the 'woah-oh' chorus), all flawlessly executed by band frontman Jared Leto. He sings with such passion, like his life depends on it! "Up In The Air" is perfect, and I bet it'll sound amazing in live concerts. 30 Seconds to Mars' new single hits Alternative format radios in the US tomorrow March 19. Request, request and request!

GOD OF WAR : ASCENSION

GOD

In the God of War games, you play as Kratos, a Spartan soldier in ancient Greece bent on destroying each and every Greek god that gets in his way.
Previous titles in the series have slain an entire pantheon, from Hades to Zeus, so as “God of War: Ascension” hits shelves this week, the biggest question on everyone’s mind is … who is there left for Kratos to battle?
After completing “God of War III” in 2010, I came to the conclusion that the only viable way to keep upping the ante in terms of scope was to introduce the primal gods like Uranus, super-massive beings that created the cosmos. Also born out of the primal gods was a creature with a hundred arms called the Hecatonchires, a shoe-in for the super-sized world of God of War.
I am happy to report that both are featured within the first five minutes of this game.
To move the series forward, Santa Monica Studios had to take the mythology back, delving into the origins of their world and the origin story of Kratos. Early previews for Ascension may have focused heavily on new multiplayer offerings, but the single-player campaign still offers all of the massive set pieces and over-the-top boss battles that the God of War series is famous for.
In “Ascension,” Kratos is bestowed with the ability to manipulate environments by controlling the aging effects of time, breaking bridges and reassembling villages with blasts of magic. The effect blends two series staples, puzzle solving and larger-than-life moving environments, to impressive results.
While the majority of the game features inspired, fast-paced game play, “Ascension” could have benefited from a few more weeks of QA. Some puzzles could have used reminders about where to go next. Restarting from more than one checkpoint might have solved that.
In testing the game, less-than-flawless camera work sometimes hindered things. A fixed angle once froze with Kratos off-screen after the environment healing ability was used.
There were also some glitches that stopped buttons from working when fighting mid-sized enemies close-up and during a few flawed sequences where players were asked to move as fast as possible to avoid falls or being crushed to death. In many of these challenges, Kratos would die repeatedly unless the player nailed jumps that were extremely hard to time.
In all, you can expect nine pleasantly exciting hours and one frustrating hour from “God of War: Ascension.” The game is available now for the PlayStation 3.
